Chronology of cameras Ihagee
Released the same year as his brother, the Plan-Paff, outside at least, it looks like a box camera.
The body is made of wood covered with canvas. The view finding is on a ground glass placed above a mirror which stands up while shutter is triggered.
The diaphragm consists of a metallic plate drilled with three holes of different diameters that is slid in front of the lens. The shutter cocking is made by means of a lever on the front panel. It appeared in 1923 It was previously located on the right side.
The camera presented here has an achromatic lens (called as the "first choice"). It is No. 20 on Ihagee catalogs,
The No. 21, meanwhile, came with a Trioplan Hugo Meyer Anastigmat f: 6.8 lens. (and that changes everything ....!)
From 1927 Ihagee produced three other functionally identical cameras, but for three additional formats:
- 4 x 6.5 cm format called No. 50.
- 6 x 9 cm format called No. 60.
- 6.5 x 11 cm format called No. 70.
This copy bears the serial number: 45,026
